I know who I am

I know who I am
I have nothing to prove

I don't have to answer to anyone

I know what I have done
and I know what I must do

My cares are my own
and if I should choose
I will make them known

I am responsible for my actions
I take ownership of them
be they right or wrong
I learn from my mistakes
and I grow

I live my life as best as I know how
That is all I can do

I know who I am
and I have nothing to prove
except to myself!
