It was a good weekend!

I am happy to say that I had a good weekend. It's been a long time since I can actually admit that.

On Saturday I went to the Spring Fling Brunch put on by my ladies group at church. I was asked to show some of my jewellry & talk about my business....and I was going to be interviewed by "Martha Stewart" no less. What an honor! It was a blast. There was so much food we all were stuffed. We laughed and enjoyed each other's company. We listened to the pearls of wisdom as told by Martha. And we were treated to a talk about being a joybringer by a Lady named Jeannie (I"m sorry Jeannie, I can't remember your last name!). Everyone liked the jewellry & I was able to sell some things. Some of the ladies are interested in a class/show, so we'll see how that goes.

I felt so welcome and wanted. I almost started crying because these ladies are so wonderful. I feel so much at home when I'm in their company. I am so grateful to Todd for inviting me to his church.

On Sunday, Jenn & I did our nursery duty at church. That was a lot of fun. Only one little cry for a mom, & once she was there, things were okay. After church, we went & bought an outfit each at Superstore and then off to Mom's for our family get-to-gether. There were lots of us there. Let's see now....see if I can remember who was all there....

Whew! 36 of us Bottyans! I had such a wonderful time talking to everyone...specially Val & Brett. They are so much fun to be with.

I know somewhere up in heaven, Nana, Papa, George, & Mary were all with us. How Papa would have had so much fun talking to all his family. Mary would have been in her element. She loved having her family around her...welll as did Nana & George. I miss George & I miss cracking jokes with him.

I am so happy this weekend was a good one. I have so few of them these days. I am praying for more!
